Received call from this company called 'Providor' who said they were representing Scottish Power for the installation of smart meters. They stated they are in the area and would we like our meter changed? I asked them to call back the following day whilst I checked this with SP. SP customer services asked if I could remember the name of the company, which I gave them, and they'd confirmed they are acting on their behalf. Therefore, this is not a scam.

The man said he was from sky but did not have any idea about my deal with sky and was was pretending to offer me a package thay i already have. Message didn’t begin as you would expect - seems to come in part way through a sentence - but the gist suggests an arrest warrant for financial irregularities has been issued & to call the number back. No name reference etc. Clear fraud. Number blocked but will keep in case of a future similar call from a similar number & pass to the authorities. Derbys.
