SCAM- They claim to be sky and say they need to come out that day to check the package you are on. Sky are based in scotland, the person on the phone doesn't know who the bill payer is, sky wouldn't do a home visit to check your package they have the information electronically

SCAM FRAUD. I got a call from a 07 mobile number prior to this call. Both of them is an automated message saying a letter from HRM Revenue was sent to you but was returned. Legal action will be taken against you, press 1 to bla bla bla. I didn’t even bother to listen to the rest because there is no reason for HRM Revenue to contact me. Back again, they phoned my mobile yesterday and today my landline. Local garage had my contact numbers 2 years ago when I bought a car. In the past has just been postal advertising. The number is in Runcorn so misrepresentation of fact! Answered the phone with what are you selling, told them not to phone again as I don t want to buy a car. Must be a call centre in Runcorn, annoyed that local garage has sold or is using contact details for reasons beyond the original sale!!!
This is a high pressure sales caller purporting to be from a company called ESI, although I could find no details of them online. Their aim is to get people on good defined benefits pension schemes to sell out. They talk a good game, but this smells awfully like a scam outfit which is attempting to get people to transfer monies from safe defined benefits schemes to them, which is incredibly worrying. Your best bet if you receive a call from this number is to block it.

I do not answer phone numbers beginning 01202 as when checked here all have been identified as possible fraud/scam calls. By mistake I answered a call from this number yesterday which led to a man trying to discuss my recent install of roof insulation (never happened). I told the man in no uncertain terms to stop calling me and guess what happened today at 1230, same number calling again ( No didn’t answer). This phone number (01202137375) is from a representative (called Chris) of HomeLogic, a company that sells and installs LogicFoam loft insulation. It is quite safe and is not a scam. It's a cold call that tries to persuade you to install this type of loft insulation i.e. spray foam. The caller said that it's part of a Government initiative to supply every home in Britain with this type of insulation. However, I don't believe this - I suspect that this is just salesman's patter.

The called did not know where I was from so admitted they are in Bangalore before I pointed out they were using a virtual London number.
