Had a missed call from this number, called back, dead number. The guy I m working with also got a call from this number a couple of days ago, how have they got hold of both our numbers as we have no connection apart from we are working at the same house at the moment, he also lives in Southampton so isn t even local and not on any local databases???

Well i was taken aback i had cancelled my sky tv package and was only wanting phone and broadband and was happy with that until he called me and said I could have it for Free for 3 months and didn t even have to renew my deal as it runs out in 5 months ,It Must be xmas ,cheers.
Never do business with they try persuading you into putting money forward for a child s charity book but no charity number FOR IT they are great persuaders and the way they say the amount it costs is as tho it s 2.60 but it s actually ?260 etc to pay they just ask your address and postcode then your more trapped than you were before as you then have a 260 bill for nothing and a little piece of paper with thank you wrote on it and also your going to get scammed on future. Annoying ignore
Cold call from an outfit called "PI Indemnity, London" pushing "enthical" investments. The usual fast talking, loaded question telemarketing script. When told that this was a TPS registered number the caller (a chap called Tim) said he was unaware. This despite the legal obligation of cold callers to screen their data against the TPS register. Clearly a highly unprofessional organisation and, with no easily findable website, very possibly a scam.
We do not answer calls unless we KNOW who is calling. Not the first time we have been called by this number. Obviously the TPS cannot handle computer-generated automated spam calls *sigh*
Homelet aggressively trying to sell me insurance. When I first moved in, they wouldn t stop calling for months. Now, after I recently had to give them a call for an unrelated subject, they started calling again for the same reason.
