When I started my business 18 months ago I had a call from 118, regarding my free listing . I went with it initially, but ended up calling them to take it down, as salesmen wouldn t stop calling and I even had a few just turn up at the premises! I had NO legitimate business come through 118, they didn t even list the business details correctly. Call from agent for EE, which I managed to get them to verify as the number on my phone came up as possible fraud. My broadband/TV Box price has now been frozen by them for 18 next months, (EE previously sent me warning it would be going up at end of contract date) and a free upgrade to super-fast broadband, from fast. Cold call....I don t answer any number unless they leave a message and I want to call back. Any number that comes through that doesn t leave a message or is unknown to me I just put it in my blocked list and delete it immediately. Don t ever call unknown numbers back if its genuine they will always leave a message

Have received 21 calls from this number since 21 July (1 month ago). I can t be bothered to even answer it now. The name of the company they profess to be is usually either Microsoft or Windows Support. DON T TRUST THEM, IT S A SCAM.

Filled in a form on line for number of nuisance calls I received they replied said they would ring and number would begin 02921 so I new I could answer it. They advised me I was on numerous cold call lists I new this ad I get dozens of calls per day. Asked foir a fee of ?49.99 to remove me from all of these lists. I do hope I have not been conned ad I m a pensioner and cannot afford to be loosing this sort of money.

Attempted to sell me some type of bed with the enticement of an M&S voucher. All I had to do was take part in a data mining survey. Told the supercilious b***h who was calling that she would get nothing.

I was called saying my wifi was going to go go off and i was going to be given a new router. I was asked to use my mobille phone and enter a code which he gave me. He was using phonetics which didnt seem normal eg o was onion. Naturally I did'nt carry on and rang off.
