Received a call offering a free tablet, declined as I did not believe they were calling from Vodafone themselves, and hung up. Then received a seemingly automated text message from Vodafone advising the call was genuine, but the grammar in the text was poor - "infact", "you wasn t sure", "removed you from our list of customer" - so I can t be sure if it is genuine. Surely a big company like that would check something so simple?
Answered after three rings, no-one there.

They verified my details, knew my name and every handset/plan I already had, and after a brief chat, concluded that I didnt need anything. I get these kind of calls 1-2 a year. They are a telesales company likely working with EE. There is a lot of negative comments, but this is the way the capitalist world you live in works. Accept you will get these calls, people trying to sell your something.

Its an Aldershot number, they did not answer when I said 'hello' , tried calling back but does not ring. I guess its a con / insurance type scam.

Option at the end of the call to press 9 to have your number removed; however, I did that last week and have received the same call twice since then. TPS don t deal with automated calls; to report this number, go to the ICO website: https://ico.org.uk/concerns/marketing/report-automated-calls/ Falcon & Pointer claim to be registered with the ICO and with the Government s Claims Management Regulator.

I very stupidly entered my details so I could simply get a quote on a loan that I had been messaged details about. Ever since then I have had god knows how many calls and message s, numerous times a day. I now have to put my phone on silent so it doesn t disturb my work. I have blocked a load of different numbers but they keep ringing on different numbers. Word of advice - steer clear of them all!!

This number is Smith s Windows, I had a quote from them years ago,they continue to call even though I ve asked them not to. They were rude overpriced and extremely pushy!! Avoid this company at all costs.
