Found this number on Google and it says that it belongs to Essex police or victim support. When I called Essex police they confirmed that this isn t one of their numbers! Who is this?

SCAM. Thought I was confirming my phone number to a McAfee website, closed browser within a minute (when I realised it was a scam site as it just had mcafee in the web address but was nothing to do with mcafee.com) and within a minute, a man with an extremely heavy and thick Indian accent called, immediately said he was from Microsoft and wondered whether I needed any help. Lots of calls from this number ,latest call was asking for energy card payment details,its getting to much now, told them not owners of the property.we don't want to answer...

SCAM - claiming to be from Sky Refund department, saying they were going to pay me back £200. Knew it was dodgy when they confirmed me using my husbands name - the Sky contract is in my unchanged name. Wanted me to confirm my bank name, got quite artsy when I said I would prefer not to, and would rather check with Sky first...
