Claimed to be from HMRC stating I had committed an offence, threatened with the issue of an arrest warrant if I did not press option one. Hung up and did not hear anything else.

The caller was warning me of dangerous transactions on my card. Amazon and overseas transactions. My bankers would not deal with this sort of matter by phoning my home phone number.
This number is connected to a computer security con – ignore and block. The Company name they give is non-existent – Web Security Global. These callers are persistent, aggressive and thoroughly unpleasant [We have received 40 calls all from different numbers ranging from Ireland to Yakutsk in the Russian Federation]

Supposedly from Virgin Media concerned about my internet speed. Asked me to run a speed check and then to access teamviewer on my web browser to give them access to my router. I rang off.

Scam. This number phoned me saying I would be arrested and all my devices would be frozen if I didnt press 1 and talk whoever was on the other end. I didn't press any number, except the phone number that had called me. He answered and denied everything, telling me I had the wrong number. Lol.
