Not weird, it s a standard UK mobile number format. Doesn t mean it s genuine, though.

Caller pulled my details from charity registrar. Charity registrar should protect data and not giving out freely to scammers.

Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. I said im sorry this doesn t sound right to me...he got very irritated and told me to check the number it is a recognized BT number at a registered address. He wasn t for backing down and was aggressive I told him to phone me back as i was at work and didn t have any info to hand. I will NOT answ

Numerous calls from this number, often a long pause before they speak. Told them over & over I do not have any ppi to claim, I ask them to remove me from their list but I keep getting the calls. Aggravation factor = immense

I too, answered this ( three times ) as it was the same dialling code as me. Now I know it's a scam call, I shall if not it. Thank you for the information.
