They should know whose account the transactions were on Second warning sign - As far as I'm aware Visa don't contact people direct, your card issuer will contact you. Automated call from 01189668073 on my virtually unused landline threatening to cut off my internet service in 24 hours due to illegal activity. This was recorded by my answer phone and the message invites you to press 1 to speak to the technical department. No doubt that would then be some scam which is being deployed.

Had a Messenger response from someone who called himself Gary then Gaz in response to Facebook Market Place advert. Further message asked me to message him on 07984645686 as his iPad was playing up. I replied that I did not have my phone and could only use Messenger. He sent 3 further messages without any problem finally saying that he would call and collect the item next Tuesday and pay cash, and what is my address. I ended the conversation there.
