Wanted to discuss my life insurance to make sure it included funeral cover costs. They said I had a policy with Legal & General - I said I didn't. They then said it was underwritten by Legal & General. It isn't. Wanted to sell a funeral plan..
SCAM. Claimed to be from Sky, checking Broadband speed but then wanted me to log onto a website (nothing to do with Sky) and input personal info. Couldn't tell me my name, address, or any info to confirm that they were genuine, except for a Sky account number which was wrong. When I challenged the operator they started off defensive and then became aggressive and abusive.
