I didn t answer the call as very suspicious but rang them back to get info. Say they re claims specialists and got my details from Motor Insurance Bureau. I haven t had an accident and they had my name wrong. Very foreign accents. I suspect a scam. have blocked the number.

Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. Were told that we are in serviced offices - so we do not have anyone dealing with coffee. harrased me for the number of my office building - told sternly NO. Call back 2 days later, same again
