Fraud SPAM SCAM Told that I am being called from Visa Security Department saying that there has been a fraudulent purchase made for around £900 from my amazon or ebay account and whether I want to stop this fraudulent payment when no such purchase has been made or is even pending from my bank account. Guy with Welsh accent tried to tell me I was due a refund on my credit card for some transaction in the last 20 years. When asked said that his company was Ifonic (with an F), was registered with the FSA who had supplied them with my phone number in a database. I thanked him and rang off as you would do.

so far these scammers have phoned me 4 days in a row, 6 on day 1, 3 times day 2, twice yesterday and so far twice today.. When they actually do speak or you hear something.. its either a recording telling you your about to be disconnected from BT and press 1 to connect to bt.. premium rate number.. or you get a indian claiming to be from bt, or they just keep saying hello before putting the phone down.

SCAM Fake 'Hermes delivery driver' is scamming people with convincing texts 'Hermes: We attempted to deliver your parcel today and was unsuccessful, to reschedule delivery please follow the link'. On clicking the link the receiver is met with a convincing website that looks almost identical to the Hermes official site where it asks for bank details to make payment for the £1.45 redelivery charge.

I missed 4 calls from this number so guessed would be a Nuisance Call. Purportedly is the NHS Health Centre. They ask have u been vaccinated, are u well etc etc and then they ask one final question Are You Covered For Lufe Insurance. I already had this pegged as a nuisance number but wanted to know Real Reason for call.
