Banking Scam. An automated message telling you that 2 transactions have been taken from your account, 1x £300 & 1x £1000. Then asks you to press 2 on your phone pad to be connected to an advisor. I phoned this number back but it said that someone is on the phone and asked you to leave a message. This is a SCAM phone number.
I would encourage anyone who is unfamiliar with crypto trading to exercise extreme caution while investing or to avoid crypto altogether. I was obliged to deposit a huge portion of my life savings on a forex platform to gain more profit where I lost about 150,000USD to this evil scheme. Also received from 01795432276. Caller said that £300 would be debited from our account from Amazon, also a much larger amount. These are not the first times these calls have been received. Checks on my accounts haven't found and debits so they must be scams.

Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC

I got an email from PayPal, saying I purchased a cell phone & that payment is now due. I called the number on the invoice from PayPal, a man with a thick indian accent answered & struggled to speak good English to explain himself. He asked me for the invoice number & said that a purchase was made IN MY NAME although my opening remarks were 'I don't have a PayPal account but I received an email requesting payment for a purchase' - when I asked him 'what's my name?' he hung up! Someone called from this number on Saturday 10/09/2022 around 11:44 (BST) telling me that I must pay my tax or I will be charged of Tax evasion. I am worried.

I received a text from 07547 153344 this morning claiming it was from Evri. It was about a missed parcel delivery and asked me to click on a link to complete a form to reschedule it. I have ignored it as I am not expecting a delivery and the message did not look like other messages I have received from Evri in the past.
