It is not Barclaycard I called and for less than a minute got charged ?1.77 it?s a scam. Recorded message to my mobile claiming to be National crime agency, saying they were suspending my national insurance number etc etc. Area code is Bolton near Bold Street according to this site. NCA would ring in person and know my name. Clearly a scam.
Very difficult to hear them, because of background noise. Claimed to be from Orange Broadband but that has been re-branded as EE. Also used my wife s name, instead of mine, and she s not an Orange/EE customer. Told them I could hardly hear them. They said they d call again soon with a different headset. Don t trust them. Did not sound legit.
