Im confused about these. I answered a call yesterday when I was at work. She said she was from virgin and needed to discuss my account. She wouldn t say why or give any indication as to what the call was about until I went through a security check. 02034700214 Sounds like a not very credible scam to me. It's a recorded message claiming to be from tax office saying there's a fraud case with your name on. The Inland Revenue wouldn't contact you that way about anything, much less something as serious as a fraud case. I'd say it's both annoying and potentially dangerous if anyone is fool enough to believe it.

This is a number used by British Gas... generally to gain feedback after a British Gas engineer has visited your property (typically the day after)... Although still annoying, these types of calls are genuine (although I still ignored it).
