this number keeps calling me and then hanging up, when i call 1471 and call it back its saying the number you are trying to connect to is out of order, well if thats the case how are they making calls. grrrrrrr bloody nuisance

I do not know who they are. All I know is that it is from the centre of Chichester. They do not even leave a text so that I would at least know who is attempting to get hold of me!!! It may be quite innocent, but until I know who is calling as unknown, it is a nuisance. Why should we have to put up with this rubbish, the caller would not like it if this happened to them. I will not call them back incase it is a scam.

Ring at all hours, always silence on the other end of the phone or hang up after a few rings. Its a premium number so I guess they are looking for people to call them back so that they can make money. Extremely persistent and annoying.

Reckons they have a cheque for £3100 which they say is PPI I wrongly paid on a loan, a local delivery man would deliver the cheque and when it is cleared and the money is in my account he will call again to collect Paysafe Vouchers for £225 which I have to buy and show to the cheque deliverer before he will hand over the cheque. Amazon scam. Recorded message tells me I have ordered an Apple Ipad through Amazon and to press 1 if I want to cancel so I did as I like to string them along. All I got was a repeat of the message. What a strange scam if they don't even have the opportunity to get any information!

This unknown number has been calling me for days before I got the chance to finally answer. I didn t understand the man s name nor from which company he was calling, but he said something to the effect that I d get a refund for the bank charges I allegedly paid over the past few years. He then asked me about some personal information that he needed for the transaction. Seems like a scam - I wouldn t answer and just hung up.

Young guy called my mums home number (she s in her 70 s) and said that she had over paid money in to her bank and they needed to refund it and started asking for date of birth so she hung up. Be very careful with company! Avoid speaking to them!!!!

There must be something dodgy in the water (above the norm) in Carmarthen, almost every harassment call I get is from one of these amoral desperate little Welshies who think they are above the law. After the latest developments on this issue, I look forward to the day that they ll have to build a new prison in the town to house them all. Probably easier just to fence the place in as is.
