They are working with or on behalf of O2. They are trying to get people who have just applied for a pay and go sim to upgrade to a contract sim. It s a bloody pain in the backside the amount of times they call. You would think that after ringing someone 2 or 3 times without the phone being answered they would give up but No. I answer and make them wait on the line lol

Using all sorts of numbers. if you block any they call from, they just come up with a new one. here s how they get your details. they have registered with the whois who directory for web domains and every time someone buys a domain but does not buy privacy from whois who, they capture it and ring you like crazy, as if there is no tomorrow. Be careful don t disclose bank / credit account details. this is how they get your money even if you don t go

Automated answer informed me that my national insurance and bank accounts had been suspended. A crime number had been issued and court proceedings instigated. I was to press “1” to speak to operative. Safe to say I hung up. Strangely the actual phone number is very close to my own phone number….only a couple of digits out.

I got a call from this number regarding PPI. I told the caller I wasnt interested & put the phone down. He then RANG ME BACK & demanded to know why Id hung up on him when I hadnt heard what he had to say. I told him I still wasnt interested but he persisted so I just kept saying ovet & over Im not interested until he lost his temper & hung up. Victory for me!!!

They said they were calling from HMRC, however HMRC never calls mobile numbers. A man called, asking to speak to me (so knew my mobile number and name) and said he was from some pensions advisor service. Same questions as previous calls, was I aware of recent pension changes in the law etc. I was a bit vague so he said he would pass me onto a senior advisor at which point I hung up.
