Silent call then phone disconnected. Also on 19/1/16.

Said it was HMRC and to ring them back to avoid further legal problems. When the message stopped I heard a distorted mans voice in the background slightly before it hung up.

Male said he was from Shakespeare Marketing, knew my name and that I belonged to Diamond Resorts. Gave the usual spiel about being able to make a claim against them re mis-selling of Timeshare. When asked he eventually gave his telephone number as 0121 667

waste of time

SCAM - This is a call from the National Insurance Number Authority, fraud has been detected at the border with Wales (needless to say I've been isolating for a year at home, which is nowhere near Wales) and if you don't press 1 now, we will take legal action against your national insurance number. Lady answered, hung up, I called back, a guy answered and denied ever calling me. Blocked as spam on my phone.

Cars sent me a text to please contact them on this number 01256306797 Quoting ref no : 10009078 They sent the message on 17th of March 2018 And just sent the same message again today at 11:23am. They also called me from this no : 01256306911 at 11:35am after sending the text. I didn't answer the number and they never left a voicemail message and I will block them now, Both messages and calls.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers or life insurance). For sure some general call centre with telemarketing offers. Did someone answer this one people? No way I would call them back :)

SCAM Defiently a Indian scam center i could even hear it in the background. They called my mom and said she had money in a casino website thing and they was going to send it to her. My mom doesn't gamble.

After a bit of sleuthing I've found out that his number belongs to Verso Group, a telemarketing company. You can request to have your number removed from their database via [email protected] or by calling their customer complaints team on 01582

I told the caller to leave me alone and he was very abusive towards me. I let him rant for quite a while before i cut him off and blocked him. Why isn't Ofcom doing something about these companies?
