O2 scam from a call centre. This is the second time in a week I have received a call about this. They are offering 30% discount on all bills until the end of my contract, then try to go through a verification process to access my details to claim

SCAM Foreign caller claiming that I have a bitcoin account that I didn’t know about. I have already heard of this scam and ended the call. I think the aim would be to obtain legitimate personal banking details from targeted individuals.

SCAM Pretending to be my daughter asking (in a text pretending the phone was damaged so they couldn’t speak to me) for £1220 urgent into her account. I refused and told them no. They persisted “I’m not lying”. I didn’t believe them. I called my daughter who clarified it was not her.

No name given. He said he was working for Amazon and needed to track down who had ordered 2 mobile phones from Amazon using my bank details (which he had) but had arranged to be delivered to an address that was not mine. To do this he wanted me to go into my bank app and arrange a transfer of £5000 to an account for which he provided and which my bank cleared as existing. I went along with it up to the point of transfer and he then became pressing and agitated.

Strange message from person named Lana, saying taking daughter to Aquarium this weekend and wanting to know if they were interested in coming. This number has been reported to o2 as spam. Unable to say if this is a spam number or genuine number sending message by mistake ... although i see it has now been reported 4 times in on day so i suspect its a Scam of some sort.

This is a HSBC number which has been spoofed by scammers Spoofing is when a genuine number appears on your phones display but the call is from elsewhere in this case scammers who pretend to be the bank and ask for personal details If in any doubt dont answer the call You can always contact your bank using the telephone number printed on your bankcard

SCAM!! A female with an Asian accent. Asked to speak to Mr XXXX (if you are going to scam someone at least get their gender right). Asking if I could secure whether I had any unsecured debt. I had a bit of spare time so I turned the conversation upside down and started grilling her. She allegedly got my details from GRS which she said was a government agency. They rang saying it was the Inland Revenue and that I had ignored letters and owed money and to press 1 to speak to their operative which I did not do. I blocked the number. I am a pensioner with heart problems so not impressed. It was a recorded message which sounded robotic - hope this helps and hope you can take it down. I've reported it to Inland Revenue via their on line form.
