Threatening phone call re a “non existent” outstanding balance on a television contract. After hanging up on them they immediately rang me back with a very aggressive attitude. Refused to accept that I don’t have such a thing and they responded by saying they would be withdrawing £400 from my credit card. I have alerted my credit card company that this has happened and hopefully it goes no further.
Scam another bloody Pakistani trying to scam you. It’s about time BT who’s numbers they keep calling off actually do something about these calls and prosecute these vermin . They have the means and also the technology to get this sorted. Covered also by uk laws . Yes you can’t touch them in Pakistan or India but now they show you there based in Leeds uk hunt them down. Just had a call asking if we did embroidery services (which we don't) and digital services for design work. He then asked me for the prices we charge for this? I told him that we do not have a standard charge and I will not be stating a value - very thick accent which was hard to be able to understand fully. Very polite though.
