SCAM / SPAM Threatening to cut off my broadband due to illegal activity
Calls again and again. Phone normally gets put down on answer. Once heard a woman saying " Calling about the PAYG phone you bought recently " then it cut off. Added niumber to my blacklist and yet it still keeps coming through.
SCAMMERS said they were from inland revenue- said if I don’t speak to a member of their team, they’d send someone round to arrest me - I nearly choked on my coffee laughing!

Fraud Caller said they were from Starling and that someone had fraudulently used my account to pay for £900 on flight tickets and £2000+ on rent. This was of course a lie on their part. SCAM Recorded message claiming too be HMRC about a tax fraud case and telling you to press 1 to speak to an agent.
Rings my mobile between 4 and 6 times a day 7 days a week they have done this now for 3 months very annoying.

Phone number was local to my areas number, he had a foreign accent, speaking good English, and he asked who I was, not very politely, so I fired back at him who HE was. He wanted to know why I kept calling his number!? At that point I just hung up. I don't know if it's a bored student, or whatever, but I've had this twice this week. So I suppose I'm just putting this out there in case anyone else has had the same, or to just be aware of prank calls doing the rounds... ✌????????

Scam ... claim to be from EE. Offering broadband update to fibre. Spoke to EE and they are not legit. They will ask you for security details like mother s maiden name. Put the phone down and block the number.

Beware...This is a scam. Caller named Alan announced that he was calling about my computer. Given that it was an unsolicited call from person who could in no way know if I had a computer or not, I immediately hung up and blocked the number.
Darren from PPI called and wanted to know if I had credit cards. I asked to be removed from his listing he then stared saying I was swearing to distract from my request to be removed!

When I answered the phone, there is just an awful recorded message saying it’s from Broomfield Hospital & to press a button to hear more. I didn’t know if it was a scam or not as I have had fraudulent calls that sounded like this!! Didn’t press the button just in case as not expecting to hear from the hospital.
