Had a call from this number purporting to be an energy supplier. Hung up and then Googled the number and saw this site, as well as the site below on the search results from a news article stating to get a refund on a cancelled cruise to contact ABTA on this number. Something obviously isn't right with it, so blocked it and advise anyone else to do the same.

SCAM received a call from this number this morning. It was a message claiming to be from "your bank", stating that there was a withdrawal of money from my account, asking me to call back to "confirm the transaction". It's another scam, just hang up. DO NOT CALL THEM.

01512039992 Fake Virgin Media. Had the same scam earlier today on another number- which I reported earlier.

Recorded message saying it was from my bank but didn't name the bank. Said they were ringing about 2 suspicious transactions on my account and then gave the details of the transactions. Then said press 1 to accept the transactions or 2 to speak to an operator.....SCAM

Fraud These people are Scammers, They left a message saying there had been "Suspicious Activity" on my Bank account. Amazon was supposed to have taken £300 and £11,000 by Western Union. Then the usual press 1 to speak to the next available Scammer. Needless to say, there was NO money taken. They did not ask for anyone in particular and never mentioned any Bank

I was called from 01733385646 and because I come from Peterborough I answered it. It was an automated voice stating that there had been a number of charges made against a card, going on to say that one was for Amazon. They were so obviously not from any bank as they did not say which bank, card, etc., Therefore I just put the phone down. When I tried to call the number back it went dead as if not recognised. Thus I conclude that this could be a scam!

Said they were calling to offer free inspection of loft insulation because the Government has designated some of the old stuff as "irritant". I asked who they represent and she said they work with a number of companies. I asked what her organisation was and she told me she'd get a manager to ring back in the next half hour. I answered and they mentioned something about EE, then asked me how much I pay per month, I responded, no thanks I've just started a new contract. They then said "I never asked you to change your contract", I then said, I will stop you there and just tell you I am not interested, he then responded repeatedly, "GO FCK YOURSELF". Needless to say I hung up!!!

Warning: under no circumstances should you communicate with this man via WhatsApp, especially if you receive a meme or a picture.

Call fro HMRC with an American like voice, saying you owe taxes. Press one for more details. Think it’s a scam and put the phone down.
