Continuous calls but when telephone is picked up no one answers

This number was picked up from a fictitious telephone number selection. Not sure what to make out of this. Could be anything. Proberly nothing to worry about.

Caller asked to speak to person who wasn t in. Told to phone again after 6pm (4 hours away). Received 2 further calls from this number within 30 minutes of original call so caller obviously doesn t listen.

Supposedly HMRC need to speak to me or my lawyer as a matter of urgency or I will ?face the legal consequences?. I need to call a hotline back blah blah. Disgusts me that there are these dodgy scam artists out there trying to take advantage of people. They need shooting!!

Scam. Supposedly from the National crime agency, this one has been going around for so long. Don’t worry about it it’s totally fake

Even though they are blocked on my phone and will get a message telling them that they are banned from calling my number I notice that it doesn't stop them continuing to try.

After completing my reference checks Rentshield think it is OK to persistently phone me, trying to sell me insurance and making it sound as though it is a condition of my contract that I have to buy it.
