SPAM, possible SCAM. Keeps calling from ‘Aldershot’ asking for phone model, and then says they can offer 40% off a SIM. The number is hosted by an online provider, meaning the number is being spoofed.
I answered and they immediately hung up. Looked up number and says it's a solar power company. But if you're going to buy a load of numbers to phone and hang up on them, then I am not interested, so blocked.

I was trying to activate a phone on my company network and after working with Verizon and the phone started initializing it came up with this phone number which is 1/2 way around the world for Bribane. Verizon still working on figuring it out. Not sure how this phone number was hijacked to a phone number so far away from my location and mysteriously changed numbers. The phone number on the account has been on my account for 25 years now.

I've had so many of these and know it's a scam. Automated message supposedly to be from my bank about charges to my account, the first for £700. I hung up as sure it's a scam. My bank doesn't contact me this way, or in this manner. Double checked and all is fine. My bank has been very good so far at spotting fraudulent debits. This looked like a local number so it could appear legitimate. I expect there was a number to press to connect with scammer. Despicable people.
