SCAM - "John" from "BT" called to help me sort out the issues with our router............he also called me from 01617983874 earlier in the day. When I asked him for a number that I could call him back on he tried to put me through to his supervisor and the phone went dead.

Firt I was polite, then I screamed as loud as I could a few times, then the final straw I lost it and swore, screamed, shouted and acted like a crazy man! The caller refered me to his supervisor where I carried on acting possessed and he eventually took me off the call loop! Only time will tell if I m actually off it! We told the caller that we were not interested and he got very very aggressive , and refused to delete my wifes details from their database After this I did some digging and found out the caller is actually calling from a company called Webhelp TSC. Only rings once, never enough time to pick up.
SCAM - automated message claiming to be HMRC - you are a subject to a HMRC Investigation with arrest warrant being issued etc etc.. well known scam - if you call the number they will ask you to pay a nominal amount to clear the debt.. just ignore - the REAL HMRC will send you a brown envelope or send you a message via your Self Assessment portal, they will never call you cold
