I am suspicious of this phone number, as it came through on messages, with a link to click to get on What’s App, pretending it was one of my children saying that they had changed their phone number.

Scam. Said they were from sky and I may have offers, tried to get me to have fibre broadband. I stupidly gave my address, email etc. Just contacted sky & it appears that it’s not one of their numbers. There’s a recording if you ring the number back that does say it’s a recording on behalf of sky. Just be careful not to give any details.

who rang me 01784423424? Salvation Army are calling on phone apparently to hand out grants for energy bills etc asap- b4 March ends. Although initially we thought it was a scam so I even rang my pastor who assumed the same .Turns out they really seem to be legit and are asking for bank details on the phone as they only have a short time to give the grants of £100 each house to vulnerable peeps on PIP etc I rang their HQ from number on official site and it all seems sound so far.

Foreign man (Asian?) said my name. I asked for his name and what he wanted. He said Martin and it was about my computer conection. My reply was:- So you're a scammer, and I'll report you. He rang off and I blocked the number.
I don't know think its safe I got a virus in my phone for a while and aI thought my Fb might be hacked ! I just went into my settings no where my WhatsApp was ,my own number was there . But where my FB was this number was there .and I have put soft ware in . I thought I deleted FB and re installed and no we I installed the installed the latest soft ware Amazon is not recognizing me .I have to re log in everywhere . It's a right pain. This number called my landline this morning. Indian/Pakistani lady claiming to be from BT. Said my internet speed wasn't up to scratch and did I know how to check the speed. I said I did and checked regularly. She asked when I last checked and what was the speed. I said I checked yesterday and the speed was was what I expected. The call was then ended abruptly from their end. Now blocked.

Sales call Another call asking for a few minutes of your time. The caller did not id which firm he is working for or why he is calling but needs your time to complete a survey. The same man rang yesterday from 01613949542 with the same line of patter. How far down the survey does he start asking for your personal details etc?
