Claimed to be paid by Microsoft, insisted I switch on my computer which supposedly had a virus. Resisted and argued when challenged, became abusive and continued to try to persuade me (but failed). I just had a call from this number saying that there is a tax fraud investigation in my name and tonprrss one to speak to a caseworker, otherwise a warrant will be issued for my arrest, I have checked the government website and thaley have confirmed that this is a scam and to disconnect from the called immediately

It s a bloody pain in the backside the amount of times they call. Beware...This is a scam. Caller named Alan announced that he was calling about my computer. Given that it was an unsolicited call from person who could in no way know if I had a computer or not, I immediately hung up and blocked the number.
