SCAM This purported to be from the HMRC telling me that a tax fraud case had been made against me. Press 1 to speak to the case officer (not going to happen!) or a warrant for my arrest would be issued if the call was not connected (yeah right!). I called this number to cancel my Avest sortware protection product as it was no longer needed and I had been charged for it. BEWARE, it’s a premium number and I was charged £16+ for a 9 minute phone call. At no point was I advised that this is a premium number.
BT do NOT allow anyone abroad &c - these scam artistes merely use phones/systems (usually VoIP) which allow them to display whatever number they wish - and there...

scam call on pretext of an accident claim - have had several similar scam calls on various incoming UK numbers since moving house with a newly allocated phone number.
Rang but no one there except office noises when answered.

Got a call from this number saying that I had successful PPI claim on a credit card and they needed UKASH voucher for their 10% commission - although I had never paid PPI on that card. A quick google check showed another cost trap with very similar number (02032864182) with almost identical MO. I shall therefore most definitely NOT be giving them any UKASH code, nor any other detail. Hopefully I can help protect potential victims.

Been called twice in two days by this number. Told the caller yesterday that I wasn t interested in whatever it is they want, but they still called me again today. Callers have Indian accents and their English isn t clear, but I did manage this time to make out the name of the company , which is Frontline Savers .

Completely fed up with these calls, why they keep calling because I never answer, if they are calling regarding PPI, am not likely to be in for a refund, as I have never borrowed money in my life can t afford it do without.
This number was included in an email saying I had an invoice to pay from PayPal. It is certainly a scam email.

Fraud. Claimed to be from Amazon, calling due to a suspect transaction on my Amazon account (purchase of a phone for £400). Said they had sent an email and were chasing a response to it. When caller was told I didn't believe him, he became very rude. Politely suggested he go to hell.

Some one called me from this number was suppose to be on an oil rig in the ocean
