Caller knows I ve applied for power of attorney for my husband ? HOW ?? Reason for call - my husband may be due for refund PIP. They rang our landline and asked to speak to the BT broadband account holder. I said I was the broadband user and then they put the phone down on me. So I have blocked the number.

There isn t a UK prefix 0111 so the number is fake. Rule of thumb, if the number isn t genuine, neither is the reason for the call.
