When you answer your phone and if it s a number you don t recognise, DON T SPEAK JUST LISTEN! Wait for the caller to speak first and then decide whether to simply put the phone down. If it s a recorded message, it ll nearly always be a scam or a computer dialling a batch of numbers in sequence and trying to assertain if the number they have just dialled is a voice line. i.e. a private phone number. Missed call Came up on my phone as suspected spam, however when I searched the number on Google it brought up a street address in Bournemouth!

Beware - Robocall with English female voice saying fraud on my debit card - an international transaction of £600 If you didn t authorise this press 1 etc, etc.

Answered because it showed a mobile number. Same as other reports, caller asked me to confirm that I had been in a car accident that wasn t my fault. I said no, and asked to be removed form the mailing list and not called again. She hung up. Blocked.

This number called my mobile. I ignored it as I did not recognise a Chard number beginning 4. No message was left, therefore it cannot have been important.

I called the number and it is a PPI company searching for new clients..........

This number called and my phone labelled it as Suspected Spam. When I called back it went straight to 'on hold'. I blocked it.
