Claims to be BT openreach technical department. couldn't confirm account holder name. wanted me to use laptop or computer to check speeds. Told him I had done that already this morning and was quite happy with it but he was insisting I tried it on my computer or laptop. I was apparently overpaying for the speed i was getting and should be refunded.?!?!? hung up at that point, I couldn't be bothered listening anymore.

SCAM Automated message alleging to be Amazon saying purchase of iPhone11 for £1100 has been made through my account. Press 1 to confirm this was me or 2 to speak to an operator. Pressed 2 to be transferred to an offshore call centre to be asked by a chirpy lady how I am this morning. Told her to be honest I was a bit p*ssed off to be woken so early on a Saturday morning for a scam. She hung up on me.

Rang my elderly hard of hearing mother who heard the word accident and just panicked. Rang me in an awful state. These frauds should be prosecuted for harassment.
I was a bit uneasy with a firm telling me that they could get me a rates reduction as there are many firms offering this service! Graham George and their rep Jason were more than helpful in the service they provided me, even when all of the paperwork was lost by the government department. They resubmitted it the next day a decision was made a week later. Pre recorded Scam call relating to unexpected withdrawals from a bank account. No name or bank mentioned. Asked for me to press 1 to confirm. That's a giveaway (red flag) as is the lack of personal details. I put the phone down immediately.
