Automated scam call re. £600 being transferred overseas on debit card (no bank name mentioned). Press "1" to authorise, press "2"to start an investigation or else your card will be declined/blocked.
Second call from this dialing code but with different following numbers no message left except an electronic sounding goodbye .

they rang me this morning and asked to speak to a MR,S C....... I said i dont know anyone by the name of Ess. She tried tried to explain that S was the initial and not the name. I explained to her not to ring me if she dosnt know who shes talking to, and she even had the gaul to try to make me answer security questions first,haha. I politely told her not to ring me again and told her to P-Off but i did explain what the initial P stood for. She did then say she would remove my number from her list. hopefully

Said that because they’d refunded an overpayment that my account may show in arrears and I may receive an automated letter due to this error. SCAM. Insurance claim related scam. Claiming to be on behalf of Aviva. Rang from a similar number that I had blocked previously. Rang on Christmas Day on a special number that I have that noone knows about outside a small circle of family members (hence my answering thinking it was a Scottish family member - Glasgow number), so they must be getting number to call from EE direct as they asked for me by name.
