Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. 23 Nov 2021 - Silence at first, then a click and background call centre noise. An Asian person then said "Hello Maam, it's "Jacks from Carphone Warehouse. How are you today?" I said I wasn't interested and put the phone down, as I haven't had any dealings with Carphone Warehouse. I also suspect this isn't really Carphone Warehouse!Reply

Had someone call me and 3 times within 5 mins and when I answered the third time a man went “ is that you Jess” and ended the phone

keeps ringing me saying they are 02 or credit investigation team! scammers ignore them! they ring at least 8 times a day off similar numbers

I m an ex police officer and I can tell you the company is legit, they called me and dealt with my mortgage and several loans I had years ago. They got me some money back and I was very happy with the service they provided. Excellent team of people. All hard working and lovely to speak to. Got ?6,000 back and I was very happy!! When you answer your phone and if it s a number you don t recognise, DON T SPEAK JUST LISTEN! Wait for the caller to speak first and then decide whether to simply put the phone down. If it s a recorded message, it ll nearly always be a scam or a computer dialling a batch of numbers in sequence and trying to assertain if the number they have just dialled is a voice line. i.e. a private phone number. Picked up the phone and an automated voice said "this is a message from....." there was a number but they said it so quickly I couldn t take it down. The message was "are you online for real?". No idea what it meant and I wasn t online at the time

I believe it is someone who called the wrong number. I got a caller on my mobile. I have my number for more than 10 years. I think she misdialled from her phone. She asked for Gemma. I just said there is no Gemma and she got the wrong number. I can't say if this is a trick or not.
