If you need confirmation upon receiving their call, directly ask them questions which they cannot lie about.. such as "please can you confirm that the salary is a basic £15,000 per year BEFORE commission" this
This number kept trying to call me. Missed its first call. It called the day after. Answered it but nobody spoke and then hung up. Called it back. A robot answered. Really annoying. What are these guys up to? Can the police stop them?

A gentleman with an Indian accent called he was from the Telephone Preference Service asking if I was still receiving nuisance calls. Went on to ask me to confirm the expiry date on my card, "the one that the direct debit for my phone bill is paid from". Knew by this stage that it was a scam to get bank details so told him I was not prepared to give any details over the phone and hung up. Within minutes of ending the call, the number called back but I did not answer.
