SCAM - very sophisticated ALERT SMS message from PayPal claiming your PAYPAL ACCOUNT logged in successfully on MAc Air from Nigeria, today at 11:50AM, If you are not accessing, contact immediately: (+44) 800-058-4020 Clearly a scammer who will answer and start phishing for personal details in order to commit fraud. AVOID!

Had a call from this number and automated message indicated my bank card was to be debited and I needed to call back to authorise. Probably a complete scam

Answered call automated voice said my amazon account will be renewed soon and to press I to speak with them to discuss. My account is not due August. Rang number back on landline informed this line does not exist. Must be a scam. Also received two more call from 07764899258 & 07764892635 again with same message.

Sophisctated scam pretending to be from Halifax fraud team, then trying to request security code from an online transaction made by them when you receive the security message from Halifax with a 6 digit code

The second one today from the same stable - only the 2 digits at the end are different. Both calls from Manchester. There have been a few today - getting fed up with these scammers ringing constantly. They must be getting very strapped for cash to keep trying to defraud 'unsuspecting' people!! SCAM Fraud Caller said they were from "banking credit control" and wanted my name and date of birth because he had seen fraudulent activity on my card. When I said I had 4 cards he again asked for my name and DOB so I made something up and he said he could definitely see £300 going to Amazon and £1100 as an International Money Transfer to China! I again asked him which of the 4 cards he was talking about and when he said VISA I told him I didn't have a VISA card and he put the phone down.

Brechin (Scotland) cloned number allegedly from 02. A scam offering 40% off your O2 account. - I know it is a 100% scam as (a) I have had one of these calls before and (b) I ceased to be an O2 customer 4 years ago. Suspect someone hacked their site or an ex-employee has flogged their data to scammers. Foreign guy said he'd send a special code in a text/email but to not divulge it to anyone - probably because everyone gets the same and they don't want you to compare notes!

This number purports to send messages from Gov.uk, offering energy rebates. My wife pays the electricity bill not me so I was very suspicious when I was saved for my energy company and then the card details with which the company was paid. Pretty sure it is a scam

They have phoned my office number about 10 times and I haven't answered. Since my office number has voicemail it is rather surprising they haven't just left a message if they were a genuine caller. Therefore I believe these to be scammers. SCAM

SPAM - phoned claiming to be with Association of British Insurers regarding an accident I had then started asking for personal details. After hanging up I was called back 15+ times before blocking the number.

Claims they are from some housing association what to know if there is damage to your property. When I asked where did they get my number from they mumble some national something. when I said they don't have my number they said all they need to know if my house is damaged. I said they don't even know if my property privately owned. Then they hanged up.
