i got this number today dont know who it is

Had two calls from this number claiming to be HMRC. Can’t see why the number isn’t shut down.

Call received on landline alleging to be BT advising me that there is a virus in my router asking me to switch on my computer. Didn't believe it and I said my goodbyes!

PPI - do they really think that people do not know about PPI? Where did they get my name and number? Added to the reject list

I m receiving calls from Red Star Financial Management on a weekly basis now. Often twice a week. It s the usual robocalls: My phone rings (either my landline of my smartphone), I answer it, a recorded voice comes on to say, "Please wait while an adviser attends your call", and most times some poor young loser introducing him or herself from Red Star Financial Management asks questions about a bank loan I may have taken out in the 17th century. Other times there is complete silence when I answer the phone,

I ve been called by this number, and very similar numbers such as 061613806131, frequently for the last few weeks. No voicemails left. When calling back it says "Ant Marketing". I ve blocked them now.

Phoned my Dad with the same Microsoft rubbish quoting a serial number and saying that they would disable his computer, my Dad hung up but they rang straight back. He told them to go ahead and try to disable the computer but nothing happened. He asked for the guy s name and number and he said he was Peter Connor and quoted this number. Someone must be able to track down these scum, wherever in the world they are and lock them up!

The usual silent call albeit one that left a number for a change, no more useful though.

Had a call today saying that they were a new company setting up in my local area and they already had a company in Leeds. Asked me if I drank water. Said no - he was surprised! Then said he didn t blame me. Asked if I would answer a few simple questions to be entered into a prize draw for a holiday. Told me if I won (which was very likely) then he would deliver the tickets to me in person at my house tomorrow. Answered their survey but gave them total bullshit answers, which they duly wrote down. If we all did the same they would get a kicking from whoever pays them to carry out this work as the feedback would be garbage.

This number claims to be BT and says there is suspicious activity on your IP address. This appears to be a scam as they ring off and then want you to call them back.

AVOID!!! 020 357570311 has called at approximately the same time each day for the past few days (August 2014). I have to have the answerphone on to filter my land line calls due to scam calls. When I called back it was answered by an American voicemail saying "The number you have dialled is not in service". When searched this number came up with windscreens at a Trading company in Tamworth. I had no previous interest in these and certainly not from Tamworth as I’m in Lancashire. So I have put neutral but it’s still a bit odd, even for a cold call… blocked
