Fraud Received a text message saying a new payee had been set up on my hsbc account and to click the link if I didn’t Set it up. Slight problem I don’t bank with HSBC and I’m pretty sure they don’t use mobile numbers to warn there customers !

They use a dialler to make contact and do not charge for their service. If you agree to have a surveyor visit your home they are polite and helpful. Their home assessment is free of charge. SCAM / SPAM also have alternate london numbers. have blocked a few and then get called by a new one. have been adding the numbers to tru callers spam database so if you have the app they should get blocked automatically.

Answered couple of seconds after they hung up
Fairly well spoken Man claiming I had just called him from my number. Repeatedly asked me for my name when I kept telling him that I hadn’t called him he kept asking me who he was speaking to! Told him I wouldn’t give him my name as he had called me and not the other way round. He went way in the end. Not sure if it was a genuine mistake on his part but I’d certainly not called anyone snd double checked my phone, but he was determined to try and get my name.

Energy Guard cold call. Told me I had asbestos in my lost. Asked how he knew that, told me it is in his database, I asked what details he had about me and my property in his database and to treat that question as a GDPR request with 28 days to comply before I report this to the Government Information Commissioner.
