SPAM Called me this morning and stated he was from Protect or perhaps Protec and stated that they were a government linked company and needed to arrange an inspection of my roof insulation which should be checked every two to three years to eliminate mould etc from damp or deteriorating insulation. I told him it was not necessary but then he lost any confidence I may have had in him by comparing it with a car MOT which has to carried out. I reminded him one is a legal requirement and ended the call.

The Company names they give are Web Security Global, Microsoft 24 Security Support and Web Expert Security – ALL ARE non-existent. These callers are persistent, aggressive and thoroughly unpleasant. He asked me what I meant? I said that if he was saying I had an accident , he must have some information on me and in that case, I had a right to know the source. He said " we help people , that s what we do" then he hung up - very helpful!!
