Had a call today saying that they were a new company setting up in my local area and they already had a company in Leeds. Asked me if I drank water. Said no - he was surprised! Then said he didn t blame me. Asked if I would answer a few simple questions to be entered into a prize draw for a holiday. Told me if I won (which was very likely) then he would deliver the tickets to me in person at my house tomorrow. Received a call from this number, but already know of the scam where they are pretending to be sky and pretending to want to improve your connection. When in actual fact they ask you to download an app which gives them full access to all of your mobile phone/financial data and locks you out

When searched this number came up with windscreens at a Trading company in Tamworth. I had no previous interest in these and certainly not from Tamworth as I’m in Lancashire. So I have put neutral but it’s still a bit odd, even for a cold call… blocked

they hang up when you answer, really annoying when the government going to put a stop to this happening.

Phoned my Dad with the same Microsoft rubbish quoting a serial number and saying that they would disable his computer, my Dad hung up but they rang straight back. He told them to go ahead and try to disable the computer but nothing happened. He asked for the guy s name and number and he said he was Peter Connor and quoted this number. Someone must be able to track down these scum, wherever in the world they are and lock them up!

This number has madesilent phone calls to here several times, no-one ever speaks. They are a blasted nuisance.

I rang British Gas to arrange a service and asked them not to pass my number on to anyone else. Got a call asking for feedback 30 minutes later. Did not answer and blocked the number. Think I will have to get service from elsewhere if they ignore what I ask in future.

Someone rang claiming to be Chris regarding government funded loft insulation I have had done, when I asked when, he promptly hung up. SCAM BEWARE..
