Despite registration with the TPS, I had two cold calls about an alleged car accident in which I was involved but I do not own a car and certainly was not involved in an accident on the date claimed. The caller claimed to be from a company called Solicitors Law Firm and to have got details of my alleged accident from the UK National Traffic Department but as far as I can ascertain neither organisation exists. They witheld their phone number but claimed to be calling from 01527 821239.

Received a call from this number a few minutes ago. They asked for me by my real name which i never use. Said they were calling from talk talk about upgrading my package. I told the girl i don t have a package with them, and she quickly replied that she was calling from Thomson Local. I enqired "Thompson Local?" To which she answered that she will call me back. Apparently a call blocking company who then attempts to take your bank card details over the phone.. Scam.

NEVER call and unknown caller back. You may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will add a very large charge to your bill.

Claimed to be Natasha from Link Group, I refused to transfer her call to a director, but she allowed me to take a message, which she tried to make sound genuine and urgent. Clearly not.

as above they called to say we agreed to fund local school, then became aggressive when we refused to pay them money. Have checked them out, they are not a charity. They are registered on companies house under 10140828 a whole saler, no accounts filed and if you try to look at their reports, Norton blocks it as dangerous.
