I also recieved a call supposedly from Hewlett Packard. From what I could understand from his thick Indian accent, He was calling all owners of a certain manufactured computer to warn them about some problem....asked if I was on my computer now. I told him to send me an email about this problem and hung up.

Ring at all hours, always silence on the other end of the phone or hang up after a few rings. Its a premium number so I guess they are looking for people to call them back so that they can make money. Extremely persistent and annoying.
I answered and they hung up, tried to return the call but it says the number isn't recognised.

Fraud - Number is definitely NOT from the Russian Federation - It is a UK based mobile number running on the EE network. When answered, a very bad automated message advising that there has been fraud on your National Insurance Number. All assets will be suspended and you will be arrested! Press 1 to speak to a Police Officer??? I don't think!!! I have never heard so much rubbish in my entire life!!!

SCAM Same as report below. A fairly well spoken guy speaking about a government loft insulation scheme we've received (we haven't) which causes condensation. I get so sick of these timewasters.
If you all listened to what they have to say and what they can do for you, you will realise you are being ripped off by BT and it is actually them that are untrustworthy.. Go on trust pilot and look at Onecom reviews compared to your special BT.... It will say it all.

I had a call today from a South African sounding lady, from London number 020 8089 6127 said she was calling from a company called Teabag that got my suspicions up straight away, asked to speak to me by name, so she already had my name and phone number somehow. Sounded suspect to me from an unknown company wanting to talk about my broadband. Took ages to respond when I answered which usually means they are calling multiple numbers and then nebulous about answering why they were calling. Be wary.

Called 4 times yesterday and so far 3 times today. Really annoying me now!! They say they can get you ?3000 in compensation for PPI misspelling. They want to know every personal detail about you. I ve told them not to call again, but that was ignored!
