British Transport Police (BTP) calling back regarding an incident I had reported. Confirmed with them that they are based in a Transport for London (TfL) office which explains why most reports state that these are TfL calls, but may in some cases be BTP.

Scammer Be Wary! Came to my house for someone that does not exist. Lied and said the court gave him my address. Yet I lived here for years and never received one court letter. Cold caller pretending to be from an energy company. These people aren’t genuine and I have no idea what they will do with the information you give them. Please people, never give any details to these scammers. Once people stop giving them what they want, they will stop calling as it won’t be profitable, but sadly there must still be so many gullible people falling for this nonsense.
SCAM / SPAM. Female caller claiming to be from Amazon and asking me whether I accept a charge for purchase of iPhone. I asked her to confirm details of my account to prove who she was. She hung up.
