Called me and implied that they were operating on behalf of my estate agent and this was the 'next step' in the purchase of my new property. Tried to get my address details claiming that it was all part of 'data protection' - when I said 'heck no - I'm not giving you any details' then they doubled down on the the claim that they were operating on behalf of my estate. Very upsetting.
Automated call - telling me that a cost had gone against my Visa card for £300 Amazon and £1100 from somewhere else - I hung up as it wanted me to choose an option. I checked my accounts on a different device and all good. Fraud

This number called me 07/10/2022 just after 09:30 with an automated message claiming from HM rev & cust. I hung up half way through message because 100% scam!!
Fraud. Recorded voice claimed to be Amazon Prime and said I had been charged 79.99 and if that wasn't me to press 1 on my phone keypad. As Prime is actually £79 for a year, I terminated the call and blocked the number.

AO aggressive aftersales, using a no-doubt masked number. Female caller asked me to confirm my personal details - I refused given they had called me! It was framed to confirm my order, but was essentially a very sharp practice way to try and sell insurance. I asked if there was an issue with my order - she said 'no' very unconvincingly. If this was my bank they would identify themselves as such, and offer data to prove this. This is likely a scam, and best thing to do is hang up. Some tosser pretending to be called "Nick" calling from the deposit protection agency or something, babbling on about my previous landlords keeping my deposit (nope) or my current one not keeping the deposit secure (it is), fucking dickhead.
Sorry for repeating my reviews but it is the only way I can correct my error in accidentally rating it Positive. It is a dangerous scam using an automated voice claiming to be bank security.

Claims to be from EE promotions, I thought it was true as I did recently ask EE to call me as I was in the realm for an upgrade. Received a text msg today from 80870 asking what do I think about my recent experience of their Outpatients Department service at my Hospital, which I won't mention. Well, as I am visiting my Hospital for treatment at the moment and from what I read from other reviewers here, it does seem to be genuine and Free. But if it is, why on earth are they using a premium number? It puts lot of peaople off! Therefore, for that reason I did not reply to it, hence a Neutral Review.
