Just took a call from this number - they asked for me by name and then said I had recently entered a competition and thats how they got my number and they wanted to save me money on my power supplier - I politely explained I wasnt the bill payer and wasn t interested. The guy then demanded to speak to the bill payer - I told him they are not available and not interested. He then went on a rant at me - at which point I hung up and blocked the number. This number texted me and said it's HMRC!!! Asked me to click on the link below and fill in the form. It asked for my card verification number, so I called HMRC straight away and they confirmed its a scam who tried to steal my money. Reported everywhere.
Crown gas and Power (energy supplier in Heywood, Bury, UK) phoned at 14:48. Answer machine too the call, nobody spoke and they hung up. They are not my energy supplier, so they where cold calling.
