I have told them a number of times now that they have the wrong number and they just hang up without apologies. Phone scam! First they claimed to be my car insurance provider and asked questions regarding an incident. When I asked them the name of the company he replied with your car insurance . So I asked again and suddenly got the reply that it is Caterpillar Advisory, an insurance advisor claiming I could get compensation for any incident in the past. When I asked how they got my number, they hung up.

I ve had 2 calls from a person with an asian accent claiming to be from "national accident department" which is dodgy. He was "guessing" I had been involved in a car accident. I tried to quiz him knowing this was a scam of some sort. When I pressed him on the details of any accident,he bluffed as he knew I was asking too many questions.
