called my work phone and ask foe the person 'court office' usual Indian scam, he got arsey when I quizzed him what scam it was and could he logically think someone was called 'court office' block and report.

Mechanical voice says my Amazon Prime subscription will auto renew unless I press 1. As I do not have Amazon Prime I assume it is a scam. Pressing 1 will probably be a premium rate number or a scammer phishing for info.

Fraud SCAM referred to a non-existing Amazon purchase for £400 and then stated that a new purchase for £959 may be fraudulent and to follow their instructions. Checked there was no purchase showing fro £959 and furthermore the caller ID not say which bank was involved!!

Fraud On Caller Display, this number looked like a London exchange. On answering, I got a recorded message saying it was something to do with bank security, followed by a message that was intended to frighten. I hung up, and have blocked the number. Others receiving calls like this might be taken in. What can be done to stop them?

I'm not too certain about the caller, as he started off by saying both my Company name & personal name, & he'd obviously "done his homework" as when I asked him who was calling, he said the name of my provider. Unfortunately he spoke at the speed of sound, so when I asked, he said he'd speak slower, but then the line disconnected, so I didn't get to find out whether the caller was genuine or not. Keep on receiving here in Canada phone calls from numbers like this from UK, impersonating people from DELL computers, asking a three-questions survey.
This number is on documentation relating to a complaint letter supposedly from Bank of Scotland. No complaint made looks like it wants you to phone the number where I suspect charges will be incurred. It is a scam and the second one I have received. Address does not tie up no phone number like it on bank website letter unprofessional.
