this number rings us daily, every time you answer theres silence then a loud "BEEAAARR" sound and the line goes dead. we are in dorking and 01306 is our local code, presume some spammer/scammer/marketer spoofing the number, or calling from a VOIP number, hoping we d be more likely to answer a local code call. Time wasters, never a human there, what is the point of these calls? June 2016.

Two calls from these CLINTS today so far. Silence when I answered. These ass holes are blighting my landline. If I started calling a random person and doing this BT would trace the calls and the police, quite rightly, would be down on me like a ton of bricks. I m a little person you see. I am expected to obey the law and pay my taxes or face the consequences. The law doesn t apply to big business though. They can do what they like and the government does sod all about it. This number rang today but hung up part way through the answerphone message. After reading comments here and elsewhere, I rang and asked for our number to be removed from their database. The guy I spoke to was happy to do this and also happy to tell me that the third party from whom they receive numbers is Communications Avenue. Looks like these are the people we should really be shutting down. A quick Googke shows that they re based in Newark.
