The phone rang and no one spoke, I hung up after around 10 seconds.

Just to confirm, after my previous post I reported this number to the police, who said it definitely is a scam, and that Microsoft would never call you about this sort of thing. These people will generally want remote access to your computer to "fix a virus" or something like that. They show you some files that they know every computer has and tell you they re harmful, which is completely untrue. They then use the remote access to steal from you. Like the other contributors, this number called me, it rang on my mobile once and then they hung up - I won t be calling them back! Don t fall for their untrustworthy marketing ploy, just ignore them.

Been calling my phone several times a day for how many days already but I ve never answered the calls as its unknown to me. I don t want to be harassed by these people and have no way of blocking the number.

I m receiving calls from Red Star Financial Management on a weekly basis now. Often twice a week. They had the cheek to call me again - when I was busy of course - with their wretched recorded message saying it was not too late. I think they can be prosecuted for this harassment and dishonesty, pretending people have claims when they know nothing about whether they have or not, and be heavily fined.
