The caller was an Indian man who knew my name, but refused to tell me his name or which company he is calling on behalf of. He hung up after I told him I will take legal action against unsolicited and junk calls.

Received a call from this number (07922591295). Its a scam. A voice telling us that we had an £800 on line gambling charge on our our Visa card in America that they (presumably Visa or our bank?) thought was suspicions and was on hold. To stop it we just needed to respond by pressing 1.

28 Nov. 2022 (17:33) a chap with Indian accent called me claiming to be from BT to say that my computer may have been compromised and that he could check that for me if I switched it on and he ran a quick check. Got a call from this number again asking for Mr Armstrong but did not say who they were, I told him the Armstrong’s have not had this number for about 4yrs to which he apologised and put phone down. Calls from this and associated numbers 02081443801 and 3803 have been persistent on my mobile since October 2022. They have recently become daily. They have of course long since been blocked. They are now a nuisance on my landline, blocked again. They need to be shut down.
Gets the usual response to unknown numbers, let it ring and go to the answer-phone. The caller hears the start of the answer-phone message and hangs up. Clearly has no message to leave or any contact details. Pretty good indication of a scammer or cold caller.
This is an illegal radio station and needs shutdown.
