Got this phone call today, purporting to be from AXA Insurance. After reading other’s comments, have decided to ignore, as the real AXA website has valid phone numbers, if I need to check.
Called me up saying they were from "Support Assist" and understood I had recently been in an accident. After it transpired that this was not the case, the charming man on the other end of the line said "you fucking idiot" and hung up. Tried to call them back to glean a little more information - an automated message tells you to email [email?protected] - which bounces back. I will track them down eventually.

This number is used to scam people out if money on Whats App. It will pretend to be a family member and ask you to talk on What’s App only and then ask to lend money for Christmas presents because they have been locked out of their banking app. Always ask for information that will verify that you are actually talking to your family member or they will play a clever game and scam you out if your cash. They tried to get £940 off me!! This has been reported to What’s App.

I received a call from this number this morning. The caller had my name. When I asked who was calling, the man stated that it was Direct Claims Group regarding the minor accident I'd had. I replied that 'You must mean the minor accident that I haven't had!' and told him to get off the line. When I checked Companies House records, there were two companies called 'Direct Claims Group'. One was dissolved in 2018 and the other in 2019. So the call was definitely annoying and probably suspicious.
Rang just now. Nobody spoke and they rang off.

This is an affiliated number belonging to a set redirected through a Company called Nexbridge Communications Ltd. They re a bunch of prats with nothing better to do than flog any old crap for clients and their call redirection service will show different locations where the call came from. They need debt advice themselves as their Directors are in debt up to their eyeballs! This number called me but I rejected the call and they did not leave an answe phone message. If it was important they'd leave a message.
I received a call this afternoon from David from London Police Station informing me that fraudulent transcations are taking place in my account (approx. ?3100) and it would be best for me to relocate my funds into safe keepings. Does this sound strange to anyone else? I said righto mate, "I expect that you will take care of it for me then." - Not a believer.
SCAM from "HMRC" or some fake police department saying "you owe money and warrant out for arrest unless you pay X amount and call them back urgently do not ignore this message" etc it is absolutely not HMRC or police so avoid this number!!

There has not been any illegal activity on my internet connection and I am certain if there had been then my internet provider would have contacted me directly.
